Were you not the one who said "Wii owners do care about graphics but not at the expense of gameplay" & "whats more important is gameplay innovations and games wich is why Wii is winninig"

I have shown you that this is untrue as the gameplay of wii games is almost enitrely dated. Give me one genre defying game of the wii. Oh what's that, you can't? What's that? The wiimote is nothing more inntuative then any other pad?

My whole point hasn't been about the wii latency so either expand you claims of all these innovations you claim the wii has made or is your entire argument just "TEH WII IS FUNZ!"?

Improving gameplay by:

Pointing instead of thumbcontrolls

higher rate of killing through ir

higher accuracy through ir

higher aim controll speed through ir

From now on FPS will be played with pointing devices on both PS3 and Wii.

Your point about the wii latency has been proven an utter lie so try agian theburden of proof is not on me its on you now I have provided proof and eamples and you have provided nothing but:

I am a graphics whore wii suuuckksss.

And thats only for FPS games i wont bother doing more because you are not a gamer since you dont approve of theese improvments. Anything that improves your gaming accuracy, killstreak and controlling speed would be embrased by a real gamer and you have clearly shown that you are a graphics whore pulling lag number out of your ass and not a real gamer.

Oh and keep moving the goalpost by saying this doesnt count somehow just to show me how much of a graphic whore instead of gamer you are.

1) Stupid point - the mouse and keyboard are thumbless

2) For on-rail shooters, so again, stupid to mention as light guns have been doing the same thing for decades.

3) Again, that is something lightguns have been doing

4)You've said the same thing twice as higher killer rate is due to higher accuracy and aim controll, so congrats for pointing out how the wiimote is effectively a light gun.

5) And what if you want to, I don't know, side step? The wii mote is too basic to be implemented in an effective shooter such as Halo as the control over your character is too little, something which could cause an issue for Move as well

6)How has it been proven a lie??!?! The article you posted shows that there IS A LATENCY PROBLEM, but it seems to be to do with the hardware of the wii rather than the remote. For **** sake read the last line of that article.

So please tell me how the wii has been genre defining. All you have done is shown how the wiimote can be used as a light gun, and I know after playing House of the Dead 3 on the wii yesterday. It sounds like you haven't played an FPS since Doom.

Clearly you've never played a game outside of the Nintendo franchise for years, so your view is blinkered. Please give me a game from the wii which has redefined a genre, or even created a new one (Gears of War, Heavy Rain, Uncharted 2 etc).

You clearly have reading dissabilities.

First we were talking about consoles here not pc so your mouse and keyboard comments is another lame attempt at mocing goalposts, nice try though.

Those examples were for FPS games not railshooters but way to go to try to move the goalposts again, nice try though.

The last line clearly says the problem is in his other program not the Wii, another example of you not being able to read

The latency of move is 22ms and goes all the way up to 133ms for the move but somehove for the wii it will go from 10ms all the way up to 180ms? yeah right nice try.

Earlier in this thread when i pointed out that early tests of the move shows it has more lag then the wii controller you your self (and I) pointed out that it was a tech demo. So how does the wii controller with 180ms show less lag then the move techdemo with 133ms?

The only console i dont have is the PS3 i had xbox since first week it was released.

When you are real gamer and care about real improvments get back to me.

Good bye and nice tries. please try again this is fun to see you fail.

PC doesn't count why? Some arbitrary barrier made by you to seperate gaming on PC to consoles why? Either way point still stands that the wiimote is nothing new as it is just a light gun and still less effective than a mouse. I know those examples were for FPS's - what's your point? My point's still remain that you have very limited control over your character movement and it's nothing a light gun hasn't done before. The wiimote may be better for aiming, but good luck trying to have 360 degrees control over your character, or strafing, something that became standard with the PS2.

My point also remains that the latency of the wiimote is due to the hardware of the wii. It's  known that Guitar Hero is difficult to play on the wii due to latency issues, or you ignorant to this well known fact? Also the fact you are clearly ignorant of the hardware differences between the wii and PS3 shows you know nothing about hardware, how it works, and the fact that the wii latency could very easily have such a large increase considering it's hardware seems to be about 15 years old.

You said Move has more lag than the wii. What figures are you using for the wii latency? Or just pressuming a figure? The fact neither of us have a figure for latency yet you are still harping on about it isn't too bright is it?

Nice to see your last two paragraphs are BS.

So after you've avoided it, please tell me a genre defying game on the wii? Y'know, one like Uncharted 2, Gears of War,  Heavy Rain, Resistance 2, MGS4, Mass Effects etc etc. All I can think of is Mario Sunshine. That's it.

Please enlighten me to the "gameplay innovations" and as "Wii owners do care about graphics but not at the expense of gameplay" please tell me of the gameplay improvement on the wii and sacrifies made by playing on the PS3 or 360.

for next gen nintendo console to do well they will have to have library of games ready. first party games like wii sports 3 type of game bundled, or newsmbwii2 would be nice. wii fit is here to stay. the next gen wii fit should be more social in the aspect so people can leave tips, and encouragement. ad downloadable content, food menu and preps for people trying to eat healthy is a must. make it so the game send emails to u or if possible send text messages on the phone to help u remember to work out that would sweet.

@Mazty
Reading through your posts I'm not sure where you are pulling your figures from. First to your post regarding surveys about how often you play your wii... these surveys are meant for the GAMERS not the CASUAL market, most of the casual market will never see those surveys.

Casual buyers will buy a new console that looks better, casual gamers like casual games. Hardcore Gamers like Hardcore games. The Wii has many more casual games out there right now, even if most of them are crap, the consumer still has a large selection. All of the genre defining games you list off are all FPS games. Casual gamers don't find much interest playing one right after another.

After buying my PS3 and looking through the selection of games, I find that besides sports games, there is very little to offer for more than 2 player local play... (the one casual game that the PS3 offers has 4 player support, LBP) Occasionally I have friends over and we like to enjoy a game at the same time.

Casual gamers will buy a new Nintendo console not just for hi-tech alone though (I do agree on that point) the casual gamer doesn't want to spend money each gen on a new console. WiiFit has been the big push for the console, every time I walk into a store, I always see someone buying WiiFit, or an accessory for it. Fun Fitness is something that they saw in it. Unless they can somehow implement Fitness into a new gaming console, and make it better, those same customers won't return as easily.

Really? My point has been that the wii is not for real gamers as it has no genre defying games and the pad is just a gimmick.

Let's see what I put on PAGE 5:

"They may be ahead at the moment, but the market buying the wii will not bother to buy an improved wii as surveys indicate that many wiis are now dust collectors, with serious gamers playing on either the xbox or ps3, resulting in all the hardcore franchises on either the ps3, pc or 360, and not with nintendo."

Don't say I'm digressing because you can't show how serious gamers would play on the wii. Plus why are you going on about wii sales? I'm going on about the potential next nintendo console and how nintendo have lost the real gaming market. Either way you clearly can't answer how the wii is for real gamers as the pad seems to be just a gimmick as its just a light gun and worse for many genres.

Why do you bring surveys into the matter, they are only meant for the target audience. Any casual gamer will never vote on any poll like that. All that survey says is Hardcore gamers have the Wii collecting dust.

Yes you have been disgressing for a while now.

All the questions have been answered by people in this thread before me but you ignored them as you did with my answers so you can keep asking.

All your surveys are pulled out of your ass just like the latency number.

If you are asking if there is more hardcore gamers on the hdconsoles then yes there are, if you are saying that there are none hardcore gamers on the wii then your are very misstaken.

I would like to see more 3rd party core games on the Wii but its hardly needed since Nintendo got that covered in every genre I am interested in except FPS.

Did you purposely ignore my main point? My main point was that the wii audience is not hardcore gamers and therefore not a sustainable one if Nintendo realise another wii-like console. People argued the wii is good for gamers. I then said the wii is not good due to the pad latency, which unfortunaly I can't get any figures for so a unsubstainited point this moment in time, and that the wii has no genre defying games at all.

You have claimed the wii is for gamers and has genre defying and intuative development over the PS3 and 360. I asked you how. You have yet to answer. SO either answer or don't bother at all as you seem to be trying to avoid telling me how the wii is for hardcore gamers considering the pad is generally worse for many genres, whilst none of the games have made any  impact on the hardcore gaming industry.

So either back up your claims and tell me how the wii is for serious gamers, or my original point stands that the wii is not, and therefore nintendo will have to do something very smart to entice the casual gamer to buy their next console as that gamer is not bothered about hardware or game quality.

Mmm, i m watching the latest data of sales and the HD twins are closing distance with the Wii, it may not be that far the Wii 2 if this trend continues like this.

Anyways, the HD twins are trying really hard to survive the Wii flood, they deserve some credit with the games they are receiving this generation.
