Okay, I'll be on doing 1 to 3 star missions, probably a lot of rathian and rathalos runs in an hour. If anyone wants in let me know. I'll be checking here 1 more time before I start doing them.

This quesion has already been asked, but how/where do i find "+" items, like R.Ludroth Scale +? I need it to upgrade my water sword to rare 5.
Also, if there are any noobs out there, i wouldnt mind starting an all noob party :P
I was plagued by stability problems on the network too. Only managed to get one Quropecco run in before i was booted. I'm just wondering if i'll ever find anyone willing to tackle those damn Monster Guts and Coral Stones quests with me.
Also: what yields Monster Bone L? Spiral Lance is the only alternative to Rampart and Acrus, my options for building better Lances at this point have run dry.

Im getting my ass kicked consistently and i just want to express how angry i am at this game.
Royal L - didn't beat him. Quropeco - lost twice, killed instead of trapped.
3 Star quests are driving me insane, but you know what, ill be back for more. War Hammer + here.

From what I understand, + items show up only online, and only after you reach HR 30. And you should join us next time we head out; PM me if you're interested.

Monster Bone L come from late-game boss monsters. Just hunt down Great Baggis, Barrioths, etc., and you'll get them as quest rewards. As for alternative lances, consider starting on a separate tree: the line that you get from Bone Lances is different than the one you get from Iron Lances, for instance, and the rustshards sometimes get you the starter for a different set entirely.

It's actually not that tough to handle those quests: just finish off one monster before turning your attention to the other. Bring dung bombs too, in case the two end up in the same zone. I did time out once with the two Barrioths, but I put that down to poor luck and getting the two mixed up, so by the time I went back to the first Barrioth it had already recovered somewhat.

I guess whichever weapon type you choose you always run into this same problem, you'll have to fight with the same weak weapons for quite a long time because the better stuff requires you to get really far into the game. @megaman79 Hammers can't cut off tails of great monsters. While that isn't an issue when it comes to Qurupeco, Royal Ludroth becomes an easier fight when you cut his tail off because some of his attacks become less effective, like his barrel roll and tail swipe. In fact, about half of the great monsters have a tail you can cut off, so hammers aren't the best choice for the offline mode (you get one item from the tail too). |

I'd like one only for a fixed point of strafing. If i died 6 times against Royal Ludroth (didn't keep count), four of those times were because i dodged in the wrong direction and jumped right into his barrel roll, instead of away from it.

Khan, there is a screen readjust with the left shoulder button, use that.
Lock on would really add nothing to the game, your playing a field, at higher it's makes it clear whyHR's lock on would be the worst thing to have.
