I feel in love with the great sword again...

Played it 6 hours straight tonight.

Well, it basically took 3 FUCKING YEARS but it looks like the Wii has a "proper" 3rd party game, from a proper developer.

The game is so fucking close to the Zelda experience, i think everyone should buy it, and i was one of those who never wanted to buy another Capcom game after all the bullshit, but this game is wonderful.

Lagicarus hits you with lightning, stay far away from him when he's curling up or if he dashes very far away from you Rol, those attacks will leave you in critical condition regardless of your gear.

Gigginox is Ice, use fire on him. same with Lagicarus, fire weapons hurt them the most.

Rare Scarabs are founding using the bug net in the volcano or by beating Uragaan.

Rol just wait till you meet Boraith, he makes Lagicarus seem like he was using mitten gloves at a shoot out.

Okay so today will be the first of hopefully many coordinated efforts to have a VGC team play in Monster Hunter Tri.

I'll be available on VGC at 6:30pm for coordination purposes.

We will meet on Open Server 2nd Channel and on the 13th Sub Channel City Gate to converse and move to the game.

Can't wait, and will be preparing for the next few hours preceding it.

I must say i now understand the frustration of having to "make" everything. I'm gearing up for my first capture quest which, if i prove i can do it, i figure i'm at least ready for online play (though how in the hell do i determine my hunter rank if i've just been playing offline, is it based on what level star quests i've finished?), and i experienced the great frustrations of making Tranq bombs and a Pitfall Trap, hunting first for stones and sap plants to make the bomb casings, then buying Tranquilizer, then making the bomb, and then finding Spider Web and Ivy and buying Trap Tools to make a Pitfall Trap

I got so much Iron Ore trying to find stones, though. 21 pieces of Ore that i really don't have plans for...

Also: how many Tranq bombs should i need to do this (capture Great Jaggi) properly? I have 5 so far...

you get crafting books in game 5 of them to be exact that up your % of success, also use the farm to reproduce the raw materials you may be using.

I for one have 599 Blue mushrooms and 599 Herbs and 199 potions and 100+ mega potions.

What are the Advantages/Disadvantages of Rough Edge(Crystal series) vs. Assault Axe +(Barroth series)? I have both, but can't figure out which to use when. Which monsters should I fight with which axe? They seem pretty close in terms of power when you consider their difference in affinity. This is all disregarding elements, as I don't have the awaken skill, although I will eventually.

Oh well, that bloody sucks doesn't it. I noticed that i was getting rejected for certain online quests last night, even though they were 1 star, and in newb cities.
