I believe the lance is supposed to inherit the abilities of both Impact and Cutting type damages. It actually inflicts whichever damages more on the body part. Also, don't forget that you can charge (run in a straight line) with the lance among many other things.

Finally, KLASH has come back to MH3. I just got my Wii back today and I have all my data. I'll be on at 10pm central, if anyone wants to join me, lets kick some ass.

n00bs, i swear. A team of HR 40 pluses should not drop a Rathian plus quest. As much as i hate Rathian, even i'm better at her than that...

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Tried the arena again. This time I killed barroth and barioth. But Rathalos killed me. However there were under 10 minutes on the clock. Maybe I would've run out of time if I had survived. I still learned some lessons. First I must kill barroth faster. Needed nearly 15 minutes for him. Second I shouldn't heal myself during the barioth phase. Barioth is just too fast for me. If I try to heal myself he usually kills me. It's better to die fighting than healing.

You need a meat sack to distract Barioth (in arena's case, that would mean a dummy player 2. Even if they don't attack, try and keep them moving so they don't die, but so that Barioth has someone to focus his lightning quick attacks on other than you)

I found Barioth to be surprisingly easy offline, but that was because i had Cha Cha to distract him. Similar principle should apply here

If ppl could reach 40plus and fall to ian, it would imply that they were "sponging" for their whole MH career. By that I mean you let the other 3 do the fight mainly while to run around making it look like you're fighting. I hate people like that. I deliberately abandon the quest when I spot one.

Went on it again for the first time in a month. All I've gotta say is...wow, everyone is sooo much beter now :/

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

^^ Lol yea, we ain't sticking here.

Due to this game's circular logic, i'm stuck mining Rathalos, most hated of hated

Facts:

1. I want to fight Barioth and Baggi

2. To do so, i need to upgrade to a Wyvern Sword Flame

3. To acquire the Wyvern Sword Flame, i need a Rathalos Plate

4. Therefore i must fight Rathalos plus, because he has a much higher chance (12% in the tail, way higher than anything Rath minus can boast of)
