You have the worst luck!

3% find rate on their own, from what i recall. 60% if you break the beak, but i'm damned as to how to do that. I keep going for the head every time i fight it, but the beak never goes before it does.

^ Wow really? There are shots I get 2 beaks at the same time without even breaking it. You sure you just don't have bad karma or something?

Hmm.  I've never had much problem with breaking the beak, to be honest: I'm assuming you're using the Upper-Thrust with your lance and always aiming for the head, correct?

When i can, at any rate. Upper thrust and counter thrust are pretty much how i attack everything when i feel it's safe to do so. Also go for the head every time i drop it.

Oooh, you've gotta play with me. I demolish Quru heads - triple charging Great Sword attacks to its face are always fun. (and so easy!)

Good run. Finally have that full Pecco set i've been after for so long, and fought Gigginox for the first time, and the only time for a looooong time, given how i performed. Yikes.

Sorry you missed us!  Not that the poor birdie stood a chance as it was...I've started feeling sorry for the lower-ranked monsters, to be honest.

Giggi's easily my least favorite: not only does his poison take FOREVER to wear off, but he's a flying leech that poops and eats from both ends.  It's unnatural as hell!

He's actually pretty simple once you get the rhythm down though:  with a lance, stay as far away from his torso as you can, to avoid that poison gas attack.  Aim for the head, the wings, or the...other head(?), and keep your shield up when he does his Spider-Man impression.  And as you may have noticed, antidotes REALLY help...

Been told by my doctor to quit gaming for 6 weeks thanks  to some sort of nerve damage in my left hand from holding a controller too long. It's all thanks to a 2 week long session of monster hunter tri where I sunk in 100 hours and didn't pay any attention to the constant pins and needles while I was playing, using the cc pro of course. 

Can't believe it, I still haven't finished alan wake and I just downloaded final fantasy 9 aswell. Lucky I can still play my dsi in small doses though otherwise I would go nuts :{
