But yeah, I bought Y3 because of how much I enjoyed S1 and 2. I haven't played any other Yakuza games but Yakuza 3 is awesome, and getting really underated. I guess most western reviewers don't appreciate many of the games subtltites, I mean many of the reviews I went through didn't really mention the games focus on sidequests and mini-games, or just how much there is to do.

This is the most expansive RPG I've ever played. Except Oblivion perhaps, but then there's much more variety with Yakuza.

IGN said "its like GTA but in japan and no cars" which is really stupid (but what would i expect from IGN?) , its nothing like GTA!

Yeah I know, it's just a JRPG with the field interchanged with real life locations in Japan, the battle system changed to virtual fighter-ish thing coupled with tonnes of stuff to do.

I love it. I thought the impact of the ending was kind of lost in translation though, either that or it was a little too cheesy.

I was playing Yakuza 3 and.... There is this one scene that made me cry. It was so sad.. ;_;

I'm loving it so far. Loving during funny scenes where Kiryu watches other people and
takes pictures of them. The guy falling because of a banana peel was EPIC.

I was playing the demo yesterday and it was pretty good, too bad it doesn't have full voicetrack for each conversation, I grow bored of reading speach bubbles rather fast. Might pick it up once the price drops a little.
