Sorry, I don't know how to embed a cnn video. This couple makes a lot of money buying and then renting out virtual real estate.  Apparently paying $25 a month for luxurious digs by the beach in a virtual world makes sense to people.

Good for them I guess, but for every person that makes money like this, they are thousands more that lose money.

25$ is nothing. I know people who've been donating sums like 10'000$ in some browser (!) games. And contrary to what you'd think, they are far away from being losers in real life.

I would love to meet folks who are spending $10,000+ in browser. Maybe they can make a donations to the charity of me.

Yeah, some of us are trying to pay for college.
