Skies of Arcadia was re-released for Gamecube (also playable on the Wii) and is considered a better version (less random battles).

I played Grandia 1 with an emulator (using PS1 disc) and I loved it. With an emulator I had the ability to save anywhere since it saves the memory dump and this allowed me freedom to play just 10-20 minutes at a time. I was hoping Sony would have something similar for PS3 but that is not the case. Even then it is a great game.

I say grandia 1 its my favorite but the best battle system is in grandia 3 so they come pretty close

Nintendo made me a gamer so I'd be stupid to ever try to forget that like so many people nowadays

I only played the Dreamcast version of Grandia 2. I loved it but some of the reviews at the time said that Grandia 1 was better. I guess I'm going to have to download Grandia from the PS1 and see for myself!
