Folks,

The PlayStation 3 version of Unreal Tournament 3 has gone gold! We got news last night that Unreal Tournament 3 has been approved by SCEA and has been released to North American manufacturing.

Midway has started talking to retailers to figure out exact timing and they will have a formal announcement early next week when everyone is back from the Thanksgiving holiday. My guess is that Midway will start shipping the title to North American retailers on Monday December 10th and it could show up in stores as early as December 11th but more likely toward the middle of that week.

I think PS3 owners are going to really enjoy UT3 this holiday so make sure you get it on your shopping list!

For PAL territories, specifically UK and Europe, we have a few localization-related tasks to complete and then we should be starting the certification process pretty soon. My best guess is early next year (January or February) for the game to ship over there.

Awesome news, for Americans! Great news for me, I'm not able to get that many games this Xmas (I'm getting a new rig), so the delay for us UKians has made the choice slightly easier, (I'm currently thinking Assas. Creed and Uncharted).

No more PS3 FPSs in PAL territories until the end of the year. Orange Box, UT3 and Haze were all delayed.

Well with Haze being delayed, this is good news for Sony.

NJ5 we PAL PS3 gamers haven't had a decent FPS since launch, I'm pretty sure Call of Duty 4 will hold out until the games release.

AWESOME news! So much for the "it won't be out until next year statements"...probably the real reason Haze might be delayed. With a great FPS already out (CoD4) I doubt Haze wanted to compete against all of the big daddy's at once. Although, I'm looking more forward to Haze than the other two.

Eitherway, a must buy for myself.



Well, I now only have access to a PS3 & 360...Plan on buying a wii soon (lol, if I can ever find one available!) but will probably wait until some of the major RPG's come out like Dragon Quest & Tales, etc.

Anyhow, I'm so far behind in games to play that I'm not in a huge hurry (lol, haven't even gotten a chance to finish God of War II yet!)
