^It only becomes milking when the quality of the game is jeopardized in order to release more games. Basically, when it becomes quantity>quality. I can't speak for DQ (never played one) or KH (only played the first one for some reason), but FF certainly hasn't lost its quality.

Kingdom Hearts is now added to the list of Square's milked franchises.

Whenever you are planning to release at least one game, every year. It's being milked. No denying it.

lol.  Unlike the divisive FFXIII, pretty much everyone loved DQIX's evolutions.  And honestly, it's probably the more successfully progressive of the two games (and regressive at the same time! <3).

Dragon Quest is getting remade/ported just as many times as Final Fantasy.

Kingdom Hearts has 3 new games in development and they still haven't released Birth By Sleep to the worldwide market.

They also ported Chain of Memories to the PS2.

I think what Nomura means is that once Final Fantasy Versus XIII is in the stages where it's almost complete and the engine is totally pumped up, Nomura will start making Kingdom Hearts III on the same engine, which means it's gonna be at least on the PS3.

So now that leads me to thinking that it Nomura didn't build the engine used in Versus XIII just to make one PS3 game. He definitely has plans to release other games using his engine on the PS3.

Also I've got a rumor about an unannounced Kingdom Hearts Game that may relate to Nomura's other two Kingdom Hearts Games.

Of course this is all a rumor and nothing is confirmed but this was originally brought up in 2ch in Japan. I can't say it's true but I hope it is.

Well since it's a rumor we can really only hope so I'm just hoping that the information about the game is all true. But I wonder how someone in Japan even got this piece of info.
