For the last couple of years its always been the PS3 vs 360 when the crusaders of the interwebs have fought it out. First it was listwars of games, who had the better quality. We've been through exclusives between the two and continuing on into graphics rage-outs and who has the chance to "win" this console war. But no matter how fierce and intense the battle have been, no matter how good, and in whatever topic, Nintendo have always been exculuded in this war.

Nintendians have droped random posts of "Oh the Wii dosent count ey?" and "Wii already won!" aswell as "Wii has the best exclusives", just to be able to get some sort of reaction when the PS3 and 360 have fought it out. But no more! The day is here and the war is finally including the Wii! Innocent posts regarding the Motion controllers and 3D are nowadays 200 post threads debating who was first, who does it better and who invented what. Hallelujah!

It only took 4 years but we did it! We can finally experience a full out war and enjoy derailed threads beyond those that are PS3 vs 360 topics. The PS3 and 360 war however, has taken a backseat for now. But who cares, it was a dated war anyways. Now the giants clash and we're in for a treat! Yey internet!

So... How does it feel?! Was it as good as you thought it would be?

It only took HD twins four years to became a true next gen console and soon you are there. (Its hard to be in a fight when the opposition hasnt really showed up to the track to compete untill four years have passed.)

So How does it feel? Will it be as good as you thought it would be?

Letters From the Front Line of the Console War:


June 6, 2008


My dearest Maria,

I am writing you from my bedroom. Oh, how I long to see you again. To hold you in my arms and tell you that I love you. That is what keeps me going. How is the baby? Is she doing well? I heard that she is said her first word. How I wish that I could be with you both. But perhaps, that will never be.

This Console War rages on. One would think that one side would admit defeat, but for every bit of progress, there is retaliation. I lay awake in my bed at night, wondering if I am the same man that you knew. If I am the same man that you love. I fear that war has changed me. Last night, I saw a man get his head blown clean off. Before that, I saw zombies kill a journalist. He was only there to take pictures, and they murdered him! It was a crappy port of an HD game, but still, that image will forever stay in my memory. When I do return home, will my hands be to dirty to hold our child? Please tell me that I will be accepted. Please tell me that you are going to be there for me.

Also, bring me some Mountain Dew. I am thirsty. I love you Maria. Until this Console War is over. Wait for me.

Oh the Wii isnt in the fight with the 2 bully boys. Think of the Wii as the light at the end of the bitter twisted and overhyped tunnel that is the HD twins
