The only thing I know is that PS3 is selling more than 360 world-wide every week since 30 Aug, and it will continue to sell more till the end of this gen, my forecast.

If microsoft makes a xbox 360 slim it will die. No really. It will melt.

No. It's not gonna happen.

It will never in all humanity release for a price of $149 unless it is just a figure that can't even play video games. It also, will never in all humanity release for $199. It will be a $249 release, ps3 will drop their price $50 as well, and end up probably having larger gains than 360.

PS3's advantage lies in the fact that their exclusive games can be played only on the console. At the moment, the user bases of the hardcore has reached saturation and they both need to focus on the large segment of casuals

one day the Xbox will be too cheap and the people will recognize that the PS3 is way superior than a console that will be cost 29 -49$ more than a PS2!

maybe some people will also think that the Xbox is not that good just because of the price...i mean a 299 PS3 and next to it a 149 Xbox...first thought "wow...the Box is cheap...is it really that bad?"

The sales of Xbox 360 slim will go quite high in my opinion. The primary reason would be the fat-xbox is way too noisy and unrealiable, and many would like to replace with slim. I personally like to replace mine one too, and the only reason would be the noise. Currently my usage of consoles are: ps3=80%, Xbox=10, wii=10.

I think everyone has forgot that the PS3 is not the PS3 Slim. meaning even if 360 gets a Slim model this year, there will be still be a PS3 Slim coming out possible the year after.

So now the question is, until the 360 gets a slim will the PS3 still hold up its momentum. After the 360 Slim is released and depending on what price point, how will this effect sales of the PS3 along with the big games which are coming out along with it and finally, how will a release of the PS3 Slim effect the 360 Slim sales?

A 360 price cut would really help the 360.. but its so cheap already.. lmao.. 200$ 150€ at only 4 years into its life... that's VERY cheap lol.. MS has to do more then just cut the price.. they are struggling against a console that has a higher price tag and is still being claimed of "having no games" by people who don't really follow Gaming news..
