well personally I think he must have gotten his 8-9 year olds don't like to ware heavy glasses to watch TV research with the kids like stuff that is in 3D data. And what does the the "largest" demographic of the DS have to do with the success of the 3DS new system new demographics, if little kids don't like 3D then Nintendo will create new markets for the 3DS (not that those new demographics aren't on the DS already). And I don't think all games will be in 3D anyway.
