So just to illustrate a little more the same idea I have recently seen this picture of this strange nes controller and that's pretty much what I'm expecting:
Except that nowadays there is the technology to make this work :D and of course the use of the stylus would be precise enough to track even the slightest movements. It even looks like a (huge) DS!
I don't think Nintendo would add 3D just for the sake of it. That's not what they did with the ds and wii, I think Pachter is right about that. Using this kind of motion controls combined with 3D could really create new experiences. The DS had dual screens AND the touch screen, the wii had motion controls AND pointing controls so I bet 3DS has another feature that we don't know about and that will be unveiled at E3. So what do you think, could this be it?
