Which will be the best selling exclusive of the year

Halo Reach 84 37.00%

GT5 76 33.48%

Super Mario Galaxy 2 33 14.54%

Other 34 14.98%

Total:227

Halo is a huge force out of the gate, but Starcraft 2 will sell millons to Korean Cafes.

GT5.

I'm Back! - Proud owner of the best doomed handheld of all time!

Hmmm....
I give my vote to Halo: Reach for 2010 releases, but depending on the holiday sales, I think New Super Mario Bros Wii might be able to edge out Halo: Reach for highest sales in 2010 Unless Wii Fit + sales explode.

StarCraft 2, and then Halo Reach

I am a huge Nintendo Fan Boy (Pikmin Senior for you !), but i voted for GT5.

That series is huge, the X360 is already full of Action/FPS, there is little room for Halo.

With Mario Galaxy 2, i dont see it being as huge as Mario Galaxy 1 since most of the times, the second game of a series sell less than the predecesor.

That's an absolute joke. The entire Xbox brand was built on Halo. There will never not be room for Halo.

By the time Halo came out in the Xbox Original and the X360, it was close to being the only good game by its time when talking about Action/Shooters, but now Halo is not alone, he has got GoW´s and CoD:MW´s company, the first Halo on X360 sold a lot, but most of the time the first game of a certain series sell more than the next one on the same plataform.

You can see it in the Resident Evil Series, The Final Fantasy Series, the Metal Gear Series, Kindoms Hearts, etc, etc, it is just a fact and i dont think this new Halo  can do that much to surpass its predecesor.

Starcraft 2, assuming it drops this year.  Otherwise Halo Reach for sure.

Whilst I wouldn't be surprised if Starcraft 2 can outsell the first (especially if they can get the wow casuals interested) it wont be selling that amount in its first year. Most Blizzard games have a great first week and insane legs. I don't think it'll have as good first year sales as halo reach but if its anything like the original starcraft it'll eventually sell the same or more (depending if halo reach sells better or worse then halo 3 of course).

Halo

I expect SMG2 to sell somewhere short of 8 million. Yoshi alone is not enough to put it over the top. I believe many Wii owners are not as inclined to buy every iteration of a franchise as many of the the PS3/360 owners are.
I can only speak for myself in this, but seeing as I have SMG already, I am looking forward to the two other big releases within a month of Galaxy 2 (S&P2 and Other M), which both provide totally new experiences, (although I am really hesitant about Other M, and if Starfox is announced for Q4 at E3, I might hold off on S&P).
GT5 and Halo will both sell a ton, and both will likely surpass the total sales of SMG2. That being said, I don't believe either will be the highest selling exclusive title of 2010.
NSMBWii, Wii fit+, WSR, Natal pack-in all have a pretty decent shot at beating them. As an outside chance, I'll add, Move Pack-in and Zelda Wii. As a dark horse, Vitality sensor.
Doubt CoD will do it, simply because of how most 'hardcore' gamers piss all over Treyarch's efforts, and many of these 'hardcore' gamers were the ones lining up and hyping MW2 to the extent that it was.

I vote starcraft too.

people overestimate the piracy on blizzard games it seems.... The game is online godness, why would you deprive yourself of battlenet?

Heck i'm sure even the more reckless pirates will buy the game, blizz games are just that good.

(not saying it won't be pirated, but the pirates will likely also buy it)

OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoO

just looking at the amount of people who play warcraft 3 on gareana compared to battlenet proves there are a crapload of piraters for blizzard games. Then again maybe if the battlenet is greatly improved people might be more inclined to buy the game. Still think it will be a victim to piracy and they won't be buying it since in a year or two the pirate servers will have more traffic then the official one.
