I think this is more about Faux News being shit again, rather than the console makers badmouthing each other. I can't imagine any of the three big companies doing stuff like this, and they probably wouldn't do such a bad job at it if they did.

The news networks need to report on videogames because it appeals to younger viewers, but then again, they're all made up of idiotic middle aged people, so they don't know what the **** to say.

They don't want to be a videogames network, talking about Assassin's Creed and Super Mario Galaxy, but they still want to spout shit about things they know nothing about.

No such thing as bad for being in the media spotlight

Umm from the topic I was expecting some actor being paid to make Sony look bad but that isn't the case here (at least no proof or reasons were given to believe the actor is being paid or working for one of Sony's competitors).

There are rumers MICROSOFT was the one that paid the kid. If sony does get to them and there is enoguh proof Sony can sue microsoft.

 It seems the fault with this incident lies with Fox News.. although I really think its misleading to call that channel news.. the stories that they run are all to advance their own agenda rather than inform the public.

I honestly don't care, as the guy's extremely dusty PS3 told me that Sony's customer service was doing the right thing...that was neglect if I've ever seen it.
