I'd love to play Final Fantasy XIV, but paying monthly fees to play ON TOP of buying the game doesn't works for me :/

It isn't that bad. Alot of people make it seem like it is some huge thing. But just think about this. Most people spend more money on soda and junk food in a week compared to the measly 12.95 monthly cost.

Yeah. SE gives a free month to people when they pay for the game. So they can decide if they want to keep playing or not.

If the game is so unbelievably bloated as to require a system like this on the PC, then how will the HD consoles handle it at all?
