I'm going to go with Planescape: Torment. The game's depth was just ridiculous. It was actually a little overbearing at times.
Tag: Became a freaking mod and a complete douche, coincidentally, at the same time.
Fallout 3 for sure.
Then Oblivion.
Diablo II. And I hope Diablo III expands on the gameplay and character customization of its predecessor.
