Ooh. Well... I've slept since then. (And really can't remember the conversations)

And until i ever see proof, i will argue that Sony have some sort of rights to Final Fantasy VII

oh for God's sake

Who published the PC version of FFVII in every territory?

Eidos.

Who owns Eidos now?

Eidos had rights to a PC version only!

In Japan, Square was the one to publish FFVII on the PS1. Same with territories outside of the US and the EU.

What more do you want?

Listen, okay, I've been approaching this wrong.

It's not my job to prove that Sony doesn't have right of first refusal for any version of FFVII. It's your job to prove they do.

And.... go.

I don't need to prove anything.

If you actually read the conversation... I just refuse to believe it would appear on anything other than a Sony platform.

And until Square or Sony clarifies it (they never have, afaik), i will believe this to be the case due to FFVII being published by SCE

Sony only published it in two territories, and it was only for one version. Why do you think Sony has more rights to it than a company that published a version all over the world? Or that they would have all rights to all versions (save one?) in perpetuity?

The FF7 Remake could never be on anything but a handheld (Dsi/DS2, PSP2, iPhone [lolz]) or the N6 (next Nintendo console).

A PS3 version could not possibly happen, neither could a PS4 for that matter. Carl you are pretty, but you ain't that bright.

What is it with you and all the arguements? ¬_¬

Sony published it in 2 territories, yes. I know. For a console version. Eidos published it for a PC version. Now can you explain to me any other reason why FFVII hasn't appeared on XBL?

I am not wrong, and you are not wrong. It's just 2 possible arguements (of something never proven) of something that will likely not happen for YEARS. Why do you get so worked up over little things and drag them on... All the time?

If SE ends up telling us that, then fine. I don't care what it's on as long as i get to play it in a much better looking form (which wont be DSi or iPhone).
