1UP had Heavy Rain director David Cage and God of War 3 director Stig Asmussen come in for an interview for their newest podcast. The podcast itself can be found here though I don't know when the interview starts in it.

The interview touches on motion controls, mature gamers and many other things, it's really a great interview.

And David Cage is a genius he gotta direct a REAL movie sometime he really had done his homework on filmography.... And Stig is spot-on when he said that if you wanna make a multiplayer game, make a multiplayer game and not adding a half-assed singleplayer game.
There are alot of examples like MW2 , BC2 and most shooters out there.
Damn Stig and David are cool doods to talk to...

For a second there I was thinking it might have been an interview with the most brilliant minds in the industry today, the Farmville developers. However these guys are pretty good substitutes!

I really liked the Modern Warfare comment, where Stig Asmussen pretty much said that's the type of game everyone's playing now and if you want to make a good multiplayer experience then make a multiplayer game and vice versa for single player. Sometimes trying to do both and think about adding DLC for a game can affect the overall quality of the game.
