If you wanted to talk about CoH and not any other RTS you could have just said so from the beginning and I would have stopped :P

A thread title like "CoH is amazing" would have helped.

The best RTS is also the originator of the modern realtime strategy game, Herzog Zwei released in 1989 on the Megadrive. To this day a match with a competent player is one of the most intense gaming experiences I have ever had.

I don't mean to say which game is better but IMHO Company of Heroes is funner for me than Starcraft.

Starcraft is nowadays only played on Ultra fast setting and seems to me to be down to who can get his hyper efficient build order completed first and throw his units into the fray. I really really don't like resource collecting or basebuilding that much at all and will always like RTSes (or RTTs if you want to be technical) that eliminate or reduce that aspect in favor of combat. (Like CoH and World in Conflict)

Not to say that Starcraft isn't a great game, It has one of the best stories and voice acting in gaming, even today!

Like I said, if I created a thread title like that, It wouldn't have got this much of response. It would've died rather quickly, because I'm new, and people are more likely to visit the threads of 'the elders' then 'the youngsters'.

I doubt they would have. It would have been avoided probably because people agree and there is nothing to be said more than that, it's not a discussion it's a statement and that's that. It's the PC game forum and it's very rare that you will see people circle-jerking themselves over a game coughMGS4cough for more than maybe one post.

Also, yougot your goal, the trhead got hits and responses. Starcarft is still the best though.

I have company of heroes. Its pretty good.. However, I think it has too much micro-management.

but seriously can't wait for that steam sale, By the way have you ever played the game Soldiers: Heroes of WWII I recintly starded playing it at LANs and it is pretty good you control a small group of soldiers and or tanks the campaign can be brutal but is fun 4 player co-op.

Seconded. Don't care if it's not deep, or sophisticated, it's the only RTS I still play because it's fun. I just wish they had fixed the damn prism tanks.
