Playing through Heavy Rain was one of the most engrossing and intriguing gaming experiences that I've had this generation.  I loved nearly everything about it (with the small exception of some cheesy voice acting).  After I finished my first playthrough, I had so much fun with it that I was ready to immediately start a new game and make different decisions to see how it turned out.  I also wanted to get platinum on the game. 

So as soon as the credits started rolling I hit X, as I always do, to skip the credits so I could get started on my second run through.  However, I was disappointed to learn that no matter what button I hit I was unable to skip, which annoyed the bejeezes out of me. 

Now that I am about to platinum I will have been forced to sit through the credits 8 times and each roll of the credits takes approximately 8 minutes.  That's 64 minutes of credit watching to get the platinum trophy for heavy rain!!

Now Quantic Dream had to have done this on purpose.  The only 2 reasons I can come up with for this are either they are doing it as a joke to f@&# with players or they are just so conceited that they want to have their names read as much as possible.

Other than that though,  awesome game!!

Should this annoy me as much as it does or am I just being a little bitch? 

P.S. I didn't really watch the credits 8 times I just went and did something else until they were over so no need to post that suggestion.  It's simply the principle of the matter that brings me to this virtual soapbox, thank you very much.

Game auto saves after the last epilogue scene. You don't have to watch the credits, just quit game and start again. I admit I also found it annoying that there is no option to skip.

ok, yes you should be annoyed, cause that is annoying ( very ), but...... actually yea just be annoyed, be very annoyed. those guys are assssholes for forcing us to sit through the credits, bayonetta does the same schits. I don't mind once, but after that I should have a choice to skip the damn credits

You're overreacting. The skipping of the credits probably just slipped their minds. And yes, you should be annoyed.

The only thing that really pissed me off about Heavy Rain was that EVERY SINGLE TIME I beat the game for the endings, I had to watch the credits. I mean COME ON! Skip feature please!

I would have liked to be able to skip the whole intro part of the game and just get right down to it, alternatively I would have also liked to have been able to just replay chapters and play from there rather than having to go back through boring bits.
