I am interested in buying god of war III, but only if it is an outstaanding game. I have seen some reviews and it sounds like it is impressive. I just don't trust these review sites. I am hoping for some feed back from actual players. Anybody got some feedback? I would appreciate honest and fair input. thanks.

Just so you have a different opinion since everyone else will say buy it, I would say buy Bayonetta.

I'm playing God of War right now and it's a good game but I've been thinking the entire time I'd rather be playing Bayonetta.

Granted this is only God of War I'm playing but from everything I've heard God of War 3 is God of War 2 is God of War and I'm expecting to think the same at least all the way through God of War 2.

So my opinion-- if you're looking for a God of War type game, get Bayonetta.

GO BUY IT FOR FUCKS SAKE, I just completed it 3 hours ago. It's definetly in the MUST PLAY FOR PS3 owners (Well if you like hack n slash / God of War). Seriously though it had the same level of epicness as MGS4 did to me. (My opinion).

I think Ill go buy it now. thank you. I was shocked I didn't go buy it on the 16th. I guess when I realized that I didn't already go buy god of war III I second guessed myself.

dude, so you're playing a PS2 game, and the first one no less....I've read your opinions about "kratos being lame" and you haven't even finished the 1st freaking game. Your opinion doesn't have much weight if I do say so myself. It seems to me you already made your opinion for the WHOLE series just by playing (partially) the first game, how does that make you look here in this thread?

I'm actually playing it now so people will stop saying well you haven't played it. 

And I'm giving it an honest go.  So far, not a bad game at all.  There are still the same things that bother me but still not bad.  I've just played much better and I do realize I haven't played the other two games yet, but I'm working my way there.

It's just from what I've heard from everyone, the God of War gameplay really hasn't changed that much (and that isn't a bad thing since they got it pretty much right on the first try).

(and I am playing the collection version, I want trophies after all)
