FINALLY...it took them long enough! Anyway, I'm glad to see it regardless...what sucks is that I'm going to have to buy a new 360 this fall...hopefully it comes with a bigger HDD.

You won't need to buy a new 360 to use flash drives. The two controller ports on the front, and the port on the back take USB connections. It's just a matter of MS making those read flash drive data.

I'm anticipating a new console design for the 360, which I'll HAVE to buy...maybe they will launch a Fable III bundle with Natal FTW!

Hmmm, need some advice then. I've got an Xbox I share with my brother, but for graduating high school, he's giving me it for uni. He wants to keep the 20GB HD to get a new one, leaving me without a storage device. My friend is offering to sell me his 250GB hard drive for about $50. Should I get the 250GB or just 2 16GB flash drives?

Also, my console is NTSC-J, I'm planning on getting an NTSC-U one once I go to uni in the States, because the games won't be compatible. With all the talk of the slim, what's the chances of the hard drive being compatible with both the fat and the slim models?

Have you never seen a Shuttle Mobo, with front and rear i/o ports and horizontal USB ports?

Actually I haven't.  Would you care to link me to one?

I can do better than that. I have some at work and I'll post a picture of one tomorrow when I get there.

Sounds good because I couldn't find any pictures with Google.

I'm at work and have taken the pic on my phone. The USB ports on the front are single, not flat twin as I thought, but I will post the pic when I get home later.

The motherboard is a Biostar M7NBA, not a Shuttle though, and it's 7 years old!

Step in the right direction. Although one thing that annoys me is the 32GB limitation imposed per 360 by MS. Thats only bout enough to store what- 5 games?

Doubt is not a pleasant condition, but certainty is absurd.
