The Splinter Cell Conviction demo is finally out, it weights in at 1.19gb.

To get to the download you need to go to Games Marketplace, Game Demo's and then New Releases. Splinter Cell Conviction should be there.

From what I know, the demo features two non-successive story missions.

Screen tearing is horrible. That's my first noticable impression, I've also got leave textures on the ground rotating 90 degree's instantly when I move the camera which is quite annoying.  With the extra months of polish I didn't expect SC:C to have any visual hickups.

I doubt it, it comes out next month and this is most likely the final build. It's definetely not the build from E3.

Pretty much everytime a demo comes out this close to launch it's the retail build.

The screen tearing is probably due to the lack of final build or AA implanted.. it should be fixed in the final product as recent footage showed no screen tearing at all..

Only seems to happen when enemies are on screen or outdoor enviroments.
