Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Rumor: New Slim 360 Model?

They should make it skinnier. That way they would have to make a new hard drive. So that way I can swoop in and pick up a cheap 120GB. >=D

Well, I'm not sure why you quoted me :p, but it seems that this update would make the 360 shorter not thinner. So it should be fine

qouted you because if you can't hook the old one up they wil have to make a new one. The old one has a connection port on the side and i don't see one on this model. i was wondering if some one had a good look at the board could see if the port is just missing or not included at all.

That's what I am hoping. They make a new HD. So the old ones will be discontinued, and I can pick one up cheap. I don't see any reason to buy a slim

This may be legit...

BUT

HDD? how? what? where?

Could have a built in HDD like the PS3 does. Might even come with a HDD transfer kit like the 120 gig comes with.

Hopefully its true....I will defenitely pick this model up when its released

This pretty much confirms the slim for me. These mobo shots show no more memory card slots, and what gets announced right away? USB flash drive support!

I'll buy one for sure...especially if it is quieter than the current model
