I wish both sides of fanboyism would stop. I may be a PS fan, but I'm not going to say "HAZE got delayed....it was probably going to be garbage anyway, so I wasn't gonna buy it". And I also hate it when Xbox fans say pretty much the same thing, but not because a game was delayed, but because the game is exclusive, and they want to keep being able to say "PS3 has no games". The way the previews have gone, the game looks beautiful, the gameplay is innovative, and it seems to be an all around great game.

Just because it got delayed, or is not on your system of choice does not make it crap.

But I will say that the point at which they delayed it to is bad for Ubisoft, because now it has to compete with the likes of MGS4, GTA4, LBP, KZ2, etc......unless HAZE turns out to be a God send, I don't think it will stack up to the others...this will cause fanboys to say "Look what happens when you make an exclusive game on PS3...devs can't recoup their development costs, because of the small userbase", when in actuality it may not sale that well because its a new, unknown IP thats competing established killer franchises, and the most creative game ever, LBP

Theres a small chance haze will have to deal with any of that when it lauches, and thats if LBP and GT 4 are released that early

With regard to Call of Duty 4 having an ultra short single player campaign, I guess it may well have been due to the size limitations of DVD on the XBox 360, one of various limitations multi-platform game designers will have to take into consideration-Mike B

Game trailers-Halo 3 only dissapointed the people who wanted to be dissapointed.

Bet with Harvey Birdman that Lost Odyssey will sell more then Blue dragon did.

This gives PS3 owners more of a reason to buy games like CoD4, The Orange Box and Uncharted. And if your lucky (and IGN is correct) you can import White Knight Chronicles for the PS3 in Japan this year!

Haze won't be that good anyways.

BTW Splinter Cell: Conviction was also delayed. Why did you forget this one?

Edit: Oh wait, Conviction is not on the PS3. So mentioning Splinter Cell on this thread is useless.

I'll take the case!!!

umm the orange box is still being released before Christmas.. so who cares.

and the game probably is garbage like Assassin's Creed. No lose.

I agree with everything except the AC comment. I don't expect much from Haze. CoD4, Orange Box and UT3 all should be better. Granted that's not based on gameplay, but I think Haze's story sounds a bit weak, and cliched. (Oh you mean the super company that took over the world are really evil OMG i'd never of known that.)

Then you've got the fact that the rebels are using knives laced with drugs... on fully armored guys.  Hopefully they spend some time playtesting as well.. since the rebel side seems uneven compared to the corporation side from the gameplay differences.  However maybe they've just understated the usefulness of "playing dead".
