It would be definitely great news for QD and Sony if they work together again. Sony buying QD would be a nice addition after Media Molecule, further increasing the gap in 1st party quality and quantity with Microsoft and its handful of studios.

This gap is already killing the 360 in sales right now, but Sony needs to increase its lead in exclusives further.

Uh... if anyone in this thread it trolling... it ain't me.  I'm having an actual conversation with people without actually insulting people.

Believe it or not having a discussion about whether something is worth mentionin IS on topic... since it's talking about the actual topic... and no, I do care about threads were people insult me.

My games collection is pretty fully updated, and I've never actually owned a original Xbox.  In fact, Sony is the only manufactuerer who i've owned ALL of their consoles.  Thanks for adding to my "being accused of being a Micrsoft fanboy though." I'm actually behind on that one.  I've actually been accused of being a Sony fanboy more on this site then anything else.

I just asked a simple question about if this thread was anything more then borderline thread spamming and got attacked for it.

How couldn't that be a good thing?  They just got the time and funds to make a high budget game, with no interference that's selling better then expectations... when all there other games were on track for much less, and were much less expensive to make.  (Therefore less time and jobs, so less pay.)

It would be like asking if you think it'd be a good thing if apple made new kinds of ipods.  Or if Media Molecule should still make games... when they developed a game with like 20 some people that sold millions.  Which was the original point, unless there was a hidden announcment somewhere i was missing.   The only discussion it brings up is stuff everyone was already thinking.  If nobody pointlessly attacked me, this thread would of already been dead, because there really isn't anything to say on the topic... outside of it being a non-topic.

Myself I can't look anymore forward to playing heavy rain.  However being nearly fully cinematic in nature I'm waiting for my local blockbusters to have it in so I can rent it and get through 3-4 of the scenarios.

I'm not the kind of perseon who rewatches movies, so i'm probably not the kinda guy who'd get good replay value outta Heavy Rain.  I plan to rent it now, then if I want to play it again, but it when it's discounted to about $20 in stores.

Great news, I hope to see more of their projects in the future on Sony platforms. I still have yet to experience this game but I will. Just not enough time in the day anymore.

Also, another Sony thread derailed. SO when can a Sony fan make a thread about How all of their threads get derailed and destroyed by the other communities on here?
