March 14, 2010 - Details about Infinity Ward's upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 map pack, titled the Stimulus Package, have been posted on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace website. This download contains five maps in total, two of which appeared in the first Modern Warfare title. 

This pack will be available to download on Xbox LIVE starting on March 30. PS3 and PC owners will have to wait a bit longer. No price for the content was listed. 

Here are the map descriptions: 

Bailout - a multi-level apartment complex 

Storm - an open industrial park littered with heavy machinery 

Salvage - a snowy junkyard fortified by stacked debris and crushed cars. 

Crash - a war-torn urban environment (CoD4) 

Overgrown - features a massive dry creek bed (CoD4) 

Update: Activision has confirmed the pack will cost 1200 Microsoft points ($14.99).

ouch...was COD4 map pack that much? 15 is pretty high...id figure 8 or maybe 10 bucks..idk..i dont download a lot of content..anyone else?

I'm not paying $15 for maps. This is getting ridiculous. COD2 had a free map pack for its first release and after that charged $10 for a map pack that if I remember correctly had at least 10 maps. Just another way for activision to milk some more money from its consumers. I'll save my money and wait 2 weeks and purchase Red Dead Redemption.

jesus chirst $15 bucks!, do you know how many tatortots i could be eating with that amount, my brother will probably get it though so to me it be free, and i agree with anyone who says $15 is way too much, now if they added new spec ops missions and some new guns my $15 would be better spent,

Overpriced doesn't begin to describe this map pack or MW2 for that matter. Screw Activision, they are hell bent on ruining every franchise they can.

Yea there's no way that I am paying that much for a map pack. Silly Activision. Good thing BC2 has free maps the same week.
