Forums - Sony Discussion - During game updates my Ps3...

Keeps stopping the downloading. it downloads for a few seconds then stops and the time for download quickely jumps up. I think it is my internet. any thoughts?? 





  
Around the Network

If you haven't done so already do this:

Go to Setting -> Network Settings -> Media Server Connection -> Turn off

nah just keep doing it, i'm guessing its Heavy Rain ? or GT : P? its the problem from the developers , they made it so the game actually remember how much you downloaded if it disconnected, other games erase the stuff you downloaded to start over.

both of them have ups and downs.

it is heavy rain. but this happend to all the cod updates also.

That is what allows your PS3 to connect to your PC via wireless so you can stream movies/music/etc...

 

Having it connected sometimes causes issues with downloads and updates. Sometimes it even cause you to get logged out of PSN.

Did you turn it off to see if that was the issue?
