*snickers* trolling... and a very weak troll attempt at that.

I was more of a Need for Speed fan back then, but after playing GT5 prologue, I've been excited for GT5. I know a lot of people will buy GT5 just because of the sheer amount of cars that will be available.

I am the Playstation Avenger.

Did you also notice how GT1 sold more than GT2? The first game into the next gen sell better than the next one.
GT1 > GT2 PS1
GT3 > GT4 PS2

GT1 > GT2 PS1
GT3 > GT4 PS2

MGS2>MGS3

FFX>FFXII ???

whatever, for GT sales in NA, I would say it is due to Forza and the Xbox massive online shooters (Halo) that, took away the male crowd

How is that trolling? There has been 3 Forza games in the time that it took them to make 1 GT game. GT is irrelivant to most people now-a-days.

Americans seem to feel racing simulators are redundant experiences. Europe will be alone in carrying this game. Europeans (especially latins) love cars.

If advertised well, the NASCAR addition will change things :) and undying even the GTPSP is giving forza a run for it's money, so I doubt it had that huge of an impact as you say

Does NASCAR have a huge following in the US as they say? Because if that's the case, if Sony can advertise the NASCAR aspect of GT5 (especially that you can drive NASCAR vehicles in city tracks) well, then it could be huge.

Rockstar: Announce Bully 2 already and make gamers proud!

Kojima: Come out with Project S already!

The second GT game in each generation sells less than the first one

GT sales > GT2 sales

GT3 sales > GT4 sales

So we can assume

GT5 sales will be > GT6 sales (if its on PS3)

It does have a huge NASCAR following in the states. I doubt GT will ever have America the way it used to. Even Forza did better in Europe than in America. That is a testament to how much Americans really don't care anymore.
