Now granted, they ARE Kotaku. These douchebags and the people who post there are the epitome of anti-Nintendo trolling. With that said, if this is indeed an accurate statement and not taken out of context, I have to say that I'm disappointed that Reggie would say something like this. WHO GIVES A FUCK what the competition is doing and if you think they're copying? So what? Stay focused on your core mission. Expand the gaming audience and continue to innovate and bring new experiences. I want Nintendo to shut the mainstream press and "hardcore" gamers up by continuing to smash sales records and perform. There's no need to talk. Just perform. Maybe someone else has a different perspective than I do?

Id rather Nintendo do the same things they have at least mostly done in the past. If they do actually start shit talking and all that bs I will be turned off just like I have been from other console makers. Make your points with sells of games and consoles.

They started going down when they were fighting with sega in snes, lets hope they stop bashing their competitors because sadly, its distracting them from what they do best.

That's true. You could use what Reggie said and flip it arond with Nintendo would be embarrased to play catch up with HD, but I think what Reggie meant was that the other two had to play catch up in the same generation while Nintendo won't release a HD console until next generation.

But really, it doesn't matter because they all are or will be playing catch up in motion controls or HD anyway, which I guess that was the point of your post...?

Yeah, Nintendo needs to "get with the times", because Wii sales are very weak.
