Well I definitely see non-gamers being intrigued by the Natal. So I'm gonna say Natal.

This is true

Let me clarify what Sony has to match Nintendo games

Mario = Little Big Planet

Zelda = The Last Guardian(Team ICO game)

Wii Sports = Sports Champions

lolololol!

Sorry, nowhere even close.

actually that was the only part of my post that was sarcasm, didn't make it obvious enough I guess...

WTF?! You need a ;), :P, :D, etc, to let me know this stuff!

PSMove or the Wiimote will prove to be the only casual friendly controllers in my opinion. natal may prove cool for a PC interface, but as for gaming I am not convinced yet.

Its complicated with up to 3 physical accessories each needing to be charged of a single remaining USB port, doesn't have Nintendo games and its more expensive than either systems, especially after the controller price is considered so its definately not casual friendly.

The only one that doesn't have 3 accessories is Natal, Wii has the Reciever, The Wiimote, and the Nunchuk.

The Ps3 has the PSEye, the Move, and the subcontroller

Not to mention I would rather have rechargable controllers over haveing to buy AA batteries everytime I run out, They haven't even announced the price yet(they said the starter will be UNDER $100, never said near $100. Let me clarify what Sony has to match Nintendo games

Mario = Little Big Planet

Zelda = The Last Guardian(Team ICO game)

Wii Sports = Sports Champions

and many more that are unannounced, you simply can't jump to conclusions without knowing any of the details.

The nunchuck plugs into the Wiimote so its counted as one. I was counting two Sony wands + either controller OR Sony upchuck for a single person to get the full experience, therefore 3. The thing is it doubles the number of connected devices and halves the number of available charging ports and you cannot play whilst plugged in.

People have rechargeable batteries, they are easy to use.

As for the games I will sum it up like this. If they sell 15% cumulative against the games you match them against I will be surprised.

Do you know what its like to live on the far side of Uranus?

This thread is totally pointless.

we just dont have enough informations its senseless to make a poll about a device noone ever touched and noone ever saw a atleast beta stadium game for it. We dont know the software except some scripted milo stuff some promo videos and 2-3 demonstrations which are not able to give us insight. Infact I think its ignorance if you judge input devices without playing them. I still dont know if the banana PS3 controller would feel good. How do you expect people to judge if Natal is more casual friendly then Wii ?

wait for first hands-on reports from normal people with atleast half finished software then one can adapt the meanings of other people (which is also lacks substance for a poll).

Maybe if you would have another title like: "which controller concept seems to be the most casual friendly at the moment. Wiimote or Natal". This would be better then this, even if the results are worthless because in the end it could be completly different.

If natal means my body is the controller I think I like myself more than any  inanimate object , plus I enjoy when girls play my joystick.

Really though this is a stupid thread

Nintendo FTW

What about PS Move? it deserves a poll option, it already has more developers than Natal, it has 20 first party and 36 third party developers.

Not casual friendly, the Wiimote/Natal already beats it so this is a question about 1st/2nd place for casuals.

Wow, how can you count it out already? Its not even out yet, not to mention I think it looks more promising than both Natal and Wiimote, because it combines the use of the camera (like Natal) and the remote tracking (like the Wiimote) which gives it 1 to 1 precision.

You're comparing Mario, the best selling and most beloved game series of all time, to LBP, a game that only sold 3 million? That's nice. It must be nice to live in a fantasy world.

The Wiimote is a better casual gaming device, if only because of market share. 68 million households already own the Wii, while the Natal might have a 10% attach rate on the 360 if they're lucky, or around 5 million. 20 times as many people will have played with the Wii and understood its controls than have played the Natal. Familiarity matters most of all when it comes to casual gamers. They don't want to spend half an hour learning something new before they can have fun.

Wii has more 20 million sellers than PS3 has 5 million sellers.
