Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Faulty Play And Charge kit??

Sup guys! me again with some problems!

Ok, last time it was about the D-pad mods (which work great and really improves your 360 experience!!

So, now with two perfectly good controllers I've been playing a bit more, and was therefore getting pretty tired of buying batteries once a week, so i decided to buy a play ans charge kit, my problem is: i can play with it plugged-in, but the red light only stays on for about 4 seconds before going green again, if I unplug it, the battery lasts about 30 secs before dying off... it's brand new! and original too! i can't hace a refund as there is no micrisoft and therefore no warranty here in Bolivia... any ideas? I really don't wanna go buy another one! please help!

Why not just get rechargeable AA batteries?

Yeah.. I could do that, i thought about it, but with play and charge i can play while charging, also, i already bought one... so I'd like it to work

Yeah...i bought 3 of those charge kits and 2 were faulty. They sit on shelves for a long time and the battry dies...

Use rechargable duracell or energizer AA batteries I suggest. I won't be buying any more charge kits...

It's a common problem then?

Exactly.  And buy at least a set of 4 rechargeables so that way you can still play while the others are charging.  That's basically all the play and charget kit is... 2 AA batteries in a casing that can be charged with USB cable.

I would say it is from my experience. It really depends where you shop...and which stock you get.  if you get brand new stock im sure it will work. I think I got some rotten apples...

I have the recharageable battery packs, is that the same thing? Either way, neither of mine work anymore, I have to play with the controllers plugged in now. Don't really care, though, apparently wireless controllers weren't as important to me as I thought.
