Doesn't look that responsive, but they say it's Alpha.. so...

It's going to fail anyway, who cares, right?

Why is the guy swinging his arm like a retard? He is swing from up top to down.... I cant test it myself but maybe if the guy knew how to fight and punch forward it might work.

They needed to show it though, I mean they aiming for a FALL 2010 release, they don't want another PSP GO were nobody knew about it.

It's somewhat worrisome though, isn't it?  Pre-Alpha with 6 months to launch or so?  One month prior to that they have to go gold.  So 5 months to get it to alpha, beta, bug testing, polishing, etc.?  It doesn't fill me with confidence.  I mean they don't look amy further along than the Natal stuff last E3 where it bugged on the avatar's shoe.  And they had over a year.

It really lowers my E3 hopes for a good showing by both MS and Sony, when they focus on all this garbage.  Ick.

Whos saying they are showing content from current builds? This reminds me of the Demons Souls demo at TGS.

So their official launch of the new motion controller that they say they are treating as a full-on launch-type product, they intentionally held back theie best builds of software at an event that you invited mainstream media to?  What could possibly be the reason for that?  That makes no sense.

Can't we all just get along and play our games in peace?

I have a concern

Blu Ray and the PS3 go hand in hand.
However there is a minority of PS3 owners that dont game. They simply watch films
This had led (maybe intentionally) to a fractured market and a low (comparitively speaking) attach rate.

Now the Sony Move comes along and is basically a non standard upgrade.
Games that use it will probably struggle to get worthwhile sales due to the low userbase.

Essentially the already fractured market will be fractured again.

Is this really something SONY wants ?

That is as false as false can be. Ps3 and 360 had similar attach rates according to Sony and MS in their last FY report.

Fasty - Ask sony and FS why they did it to demons souls

True - but there's a big difference when you're picking out a specific sequence of one game to demo versus the launching of a whole new peripheral set with a whole handful of games.  I just think it's real close to the debut for that.  I have the same feeling about Natal - I just think the whole rush to motion control on the part of the HD kids is a questionable move.  I don't doubt they both need to add something to stay relevant to the masses, but it seems like it's hurried - like they needed to work on these another year.

From what I gathered the other games actually show it off well. Its the fighting game thats laggy and non responsive.

Well IGN's hands on with sports champions was pretty positive.

"That said, Sports Champions actually looks pretty cool. The Gladiator Duel is more robust than the foam sword battle on the Wii. The Move controllers are extremely responsive. Every attack I tried -- a simple swing, a backhand leg sweep, an overheard smash, a lunge -- worked great. What really makes the experience different though is the second Move controller that acts as a shield. I was able to block attacks and parry."

"Watching other people play the game I was able to notice that the motion controls are not well masked fakes. People who barely swung their arm saw their character limply swing his mallet, resulting in an easily blocked, or low scoring hit. You really have to get into it to play the game. Doing huge hits when an opponent is stunned or nearly knocked out will send them flying, and I was able to hit my opponent clear out of the ring and into some columns, which were destroyed by her airborne corpse. Yeah, I said her, the game lets you brutally beat the crap out of ladies."

"The two controllers makes the game feel different, and opens the gameplay up to have things the Wii version can't do. In addition the game recognizes when the controller is behind your back, which is something I haven't seen before."

This comes from IGN. Watch out.

Why? They were pretty negative about some of the other games for Move.

Watch out. It's IGN. Don't trust them and go on another website XD

I trust IGN, most of their PS3 reviews suit my gaming tastes just like Game Informer's reviews.
