Very Good 119 41.03%

Disappointing....not halo level! 26 8.97%

Meh.....expected better 90 31.03%

I've never seen a FF game launch with such little fanfare.

Sales are decent, though I admitedly would've been more impressed if it weren't split between two userbases.

Don't think this is gonna make it to 10 million at all folks. But we'll see.

Given that it'll be one of the lowest selling mainline FF's ever, while facing the biggest budgets, I'd say 'its not good'.

Honestly, I blame the 360 for it. I don't know why the PS3 sold 2:1 against it in the US. It should have done better. I guess the 360 doesn't have the JRPG user base the PS3 does in the US or PAL territories.

Even then I wouldn't see the PS3 version make up for lots of sales to make things seem super great even if it was exclusive. I think the 360 port helped. Most of the people who bought it on the 360 were probably 360 only owners (at least for HD consoles) anyway that may not have even bought a PS3 for FF XIII.

I agree with Ken though, somehow it seems like there's little fanfare than should be expected for its release.

No matter how you look at it, FF is a first day/week sales game. Will die off quickly.

Except that's wrong.  NO FF main series game has ever sold more than 50% of its lifetime sales in its first week, let alone first day.  Stop making $hit up.

I would have expected better; however, with the way JRPGs have been performing this generation because of "shooter" obsessions, I think it actually did very good.

Agreed.  Just look at the sales of all the JRPGs this generation. FFXIII will easily sell 3-4 times more than the next best selling JRPG.

Anyone can guess. It takes no effort to throw out lots of predictions and have some of them be correct. You are not and wiser or better for having your guesses be right. Even a blind man can hit the bullseye.

We're talking about western sales and console JRPGs.

Great Sales! Especially looking at the state of JRPG's this generation.

I need to get my copy Asap

ha ha ha. Stop dreaming. Why don't you take a look at the database for final fantasy before accusing me of making things up.
