I hate his predictions. He always predicts the dumbest things and he is always wrong. I want another gaming sales analyst! Anyone else tires of this guy?

No because his predictions can be amusing to me and they can start healthy forum discussions.

Like him or not, he's the best analyst out there. Perhaps you people have too high expectations of industry analysts job of predicting the future which is highly murky and unknown if you aren't one of the delphi oracles, or then again that's the whole point of this website, to support your opinion about sony and ninty and then give evidence. So, why should some analyst do better than anybody here even if he's part of an upper tier investment bank and has recognition within the financial and general press.

tell you the truth I'm never seen how many of his predictions come true/don't come true

I think someone should start a thread where his predictions are listed and then eventually show where he is correct/incorrect

this way we can get an estimate of how accurate or inaccurate he is

His real job is internal, private predictions for companies/investors that pay him A LOT of money to do it. He's good at his job - he doesn't have to talk to the media at all, but he does because we like it. He's not getting paid for these comments, and his pay really depends on his performance, so his popularity or lack thereof doesn't do much for him.

We tend to hear the ones that are more bold. *shrug* I can't see how they would make much of a difference in your life either way.

Whether he gets paid or not, I don't know. 

But it does help his name recognition, and that helps to boost his client base, which is another way of saying that it does make him money.

I'm tired of him, but it's fun to read his bullshit. There's only one person I'd rather read predictions from, and that man is Chad Warden.

I like all his predictions that come true...

They are kind of fun to read and some of what he says make sense (SOME) I get good laughs out of a lot of it too.
