Forums - Sony Discussion - FXIII shortage for ps3?

I would guess that in most place they are still fairly easy to find because the price havent raise (Ebay and others). When well see copy of the games selling at higher price than normal it will mean that it is mostly sold out.

There's no shortage in this area, even at the local Gamestops. Hell, checking online, I could go get used copies for both system if I wanted to drive a little further.

Its impossible to find a PS3 version

PS3 version is selling out around me. There was only two extra 360 copies when I went. That was store opening on launch day.

It's all about location.  I was at Best Buy picking something else up last night and they had a few of both.  Unless the weather sucks I'll be grocery shopping tonight at WalMart and I assume I'll see a few there too.

THIS IS WHY YOU PRE-ORDER GAMES!!! especially when it comes to games of this magnitude!!!

this is a bit off topic but some gamestop comments made me want to ask people this.

I don't know if anyone else see's this in their area but every gamestop I go to there's always some employee with greasy black hair and a ton of dandruff that looks like he hasn't washed in a week. In some gamestops he is usually a skinny tall gothic like kid with piercings and glasses and in other gamestops he is some fat guy with the greasy dandruff hair...

anyone else see this in stores by them?

There is an easy explantion behind this. They are all clones of the same person birthed in early teens. The weight and piercing differences is due to the region they grew up in.

There are two Gamestops I generally go to and they both know not to bother me about preorders and what-not since they know I know what is coming.  One manager (the only I like better but is a little farther away) is a pretty normal guy and the employess are all pretty normal and the other is kind of douche salesman type (even wears nice clothes!) but still an alright guy along with the rest of his employees and token chick.  The second Gamestop is closer but I've heard them lie through their teeth a few times in order to sell things.

The random Gamestop I went to last weekend where the guy pestered me about pre-ordering and not buying anything else was more of the fat sweaty variety and I didn't really feel like getting close enough to him to smell him, at least the token chick was alright and didn't bug me.

I haven't really seen the token goth or emo kids at any of the Gamestops near me, most are normal people.

Every game I want now. I always pre-order. I don'twant to have to go through this anymore. I also like to pay them off before-hand so I don't have to worry about it later.
