We'll see.

All I have to say is let's see the games.

And unless soft support remains tight, it could end up being another Nintendo-like peripheral with limited use or another PSEye (other than Eye Pet, has anything else been released in the past year plus?).

I'm not buying another controller unless it offers backwards support with some of my favorite games, or they release it with a really impressive game or two that I feel compelled to play.

I m also not convinced that Arc will be a success considering how close it is to the Wiimote.

I completely agree : all will depend on software

BUT I m sure sony will support it more than Sixaxis and that, passed the GDC, Arc will be put in front of the PS3 strategy.

Result : saying Arc will fail because of the lack of support is kinda innaccurate 6 months before the release date.

Time to Work !

It will fail just like we predicted Heavy Rain would fail.

Dunno we'll see what happens, Sony is yet to begin their push for god of war 3....or have they alrdy? I havn't even see a single ad's for it...so yeh sony might not even put any effort supporting this at all so there is a change this could fail.

either way I dont give a rats about Arc.

Hmmm, I sense some kind of conspiracy here. It's impossible that all these things got popular in the end. I believe we're living in a bubble world, and in the real world the PS3 doesn't even exist.

Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

Watch my insane gameplay videos on my YouTube page!

The Arc which Sony is still working on is getting no ads, no reviews or previews. Celebraties arent playing it yet and It's not even done. How could it not fail. It's already march, November it's months aways, what are they waiting for, even zelda is being advertised with artwork.

I think you should wait until after GDC to call this, the big "reveal" is tomorrow. I think Sony will push it well, considering how succesful the Wii has been, and this should also be a good method of motion control, unlike the limited Sixaxis (which had some fun uses, some stupid ones, but very limited still).

Those talking about advertising or technical capabilities of the arc are, imo, missing the point. The arc currently has no games that will convince large numbers of people to buy it, and no amount of advertising will convince people to buy hardware unless they want to play the games on it. RE5 is the only big game that Arc has announced so far, and motion ports of last gen controlled games don't really showcase the difference motion controls can make.
