I think some members take it upon themselves to bear the responsibilty of defending 360 a little too enthuiasatically.Same for ps3,but ps3 has more fans on this website so there not so predominant.

What do you mean they pushed optical drive? Was that before or after Nintendo hired them to bring CD's to the N64?

What does the difference in scores between Halo 3 and Uncharted have anything to do with bias? I am sick of people acting like it's a fact that "game X is better than game Y" and "game X should be rated higher." So critics like Halo 3 better, and that means they're spewing American propaganda? You do know Naughty Dog's an American studio right? I fail to see your point, and would welcome a response from you that doesn't begin with calling my post "shit."

First you said "Microsoft brought online to the mainstream." Then you said.  "What has Sony done that was innovative?" Are you trying to say that Microsoft bringing online to the mainstream was innovative when in fact DOOM players on the Atari Jaguar were playing against each other remotely while later SEGA Dreamcast users were playing PSO before there was an original Xbox?  Or were your two sentences totally unrelated to one another?

It's hardly a reason, they have no reason to be hostile unless you provoke them, If you start a thread about how much you like Mass Effect 2 compared to Gears of War, I doubt you will even get many comments from PS3 fans, let alond abuse!

Simply put, this is a very good community, the people here are welcoming and there is no reason to withdraw your input, suck it up and stop making silly excuses.

Actually, the original Playstation was suppose to be the SNES CD, not the N64 CD.  And Sony has brought plenty of innovation to the table, like the first dual analog controller and the first system to use DVD's.  In fact, the success of the PS2 helped DVD's succeed in general.  Also, Sony houses some of the most creative developers.

On another note, Microsoft bringing online mainstream and Sony bringing optical mainstream are practically the same thing.  Neither company did it first, and both were extremely successful.

No please leave it open. Perhaps then Sony orientated Forum users will post the troll comments in here. Instead of ruining every 360 thread. Since this thread, it has appeased the other 360 threads. It seems people are focusing on this one now. Not aimed at CGI but seriously the rest of the 360 pages have been pretty cleanish with this thread open here.

Thank you.  Hopefully, dsister44 understands this.  He tried baiting, and I tooking the bait, knowing that I'm a "big fish."  And expounding on the optical format subject, I hope most of us know of SEGA's failed attempt to utilize the optical format as an add-on to the Genesis.  This is where Nintendo tried to get a piece of that pie, but wisely backed off because it was too ahead of its time.  But it was unwise was to stick with the cartridge format two gens ago in which SONY started with a CD based system and upgraded its optical storage medium each time to its current use of Blu-ray.  In fact, it seems that recent move is paying itself off as it's been giving developer a greater flexibility in storage space as reported in recent news.

There is a difference between making something mainstream and being the first. They were also the first console in HD. You said that Microsoft bought there way in and weren't innovative. That is wrong! They are as innovative as Sony any day.
