Ugh. Sorry to be negative but I generally hate being timed at my games....like de Blob

At least it's just the bosses....but I assume there's many bosses in this game.

Anyway I won't let this stop me from picking this up.

1. There is no monster health bar. You have to learn each monster's behaviour, tactics, weaknesses. The hard way
2. There's no lock on (it's not that big a deal on console versions with two control sticks)
3. Always have full stamina (not health), a sharpened weapon (Whetstones), and dodge; A LOT
4. Use the environment, bombs, nets, traps, etc
5. You have to have patience with this one; it's very difficult and frustrating, yet incredibly satisfying
6. IT'S NOT AN RPG!

The basis of the game is killing the bosses. Also, it is your quest that is timed not individual bosses. You must finish the quest in the time space. It adds urgency and difficulty to it that you otherwise wouldn't have.

Time limits? Oh dear.

I was really looking forward to this game but if quests have time limits I doubt I'm going to like this game...

If this game didnt have a time limit it would be too easy just like how adding a lock on feature would kill the need for any form of skill and in the final game from what I've seen the time limit is about 50mins for most missions which should be more than enough as I have been able to kill the Jaggi in less than 10.

Pacman taught people to run around in dark rooms munching on pills while listening to repettive techno music and for that I somewhat idolise him.

No. I would've, though, if they'd bothered to bring the demo to Europe.

does the demo have split screen or the online component also? or is it like the freedom unite demo for the psp? (meaning, you can only select 3 hunts of varying difficulty)

That's good to hear. A reasanoble timelimit was needed for my sake. I like a challenge - but not a real timerun.
