I am still trying to debate getting a ps3 or not for my upcoming birthday in May. I want to know if you guys think it is worth getting a PS3 for these 2 games, Valkyria Chronicles and Battlefield Bad Company 2.

I can only afford those 2 games with it if I decide to pick it up. I don't have a job or get allowance so those would be my only 2 ps3 games till Christmas.

But I also have a Wii and DS, not so much DS games but I have a decent amount of wii games (like 15) and I will be picking up SMG2, Monster Hunter Tri, and Red Steel 2 also around my birthday. So I wont be relying only on the PS3 for my playtime.

So do you guys think it will be worth getting the PS3 for those 2 games? Or is there another game you think I should pick up besides Battlefield Bad Company 2? Cause I know I would get VC, just not 100% on BF:BC2.

I would say yes because those two games are good and there is alot of other games already released on the PS3 or coming this year that can help you justify your purchase (that is assuming you are interested in games like Uncharted 2, GoW III, Heavy Rain etc).

Yeah, there is a lot of great looking PS3 games already out that I'd like to pick up. I just don't have the money right now. So I would only be able to get a couple at most for now.

Well there you go. The way I see it, even if you don't have the money to buy lots of games right now (which makes sense, after buying a $300 piece of hardware) but you see games that can keep you playing the system, then it is worth it. That's what I did before I bought my 360 recently, I saw that there was alot of games that I wanted to play already released and some good ones coming up, so jumping in was a no brainer. Well, that's my 2 cents anyways.

Yeah, sounds like a good idea. I haven't played Battlefield Bad Company 2 but Modern Warfare 2 is really fun for online play or Uncharted 2 is really good for the campaign and online.

Yeah I think it will be a good purchase, those two games will keep you company for a good long time ;)

I have a ps3 and love it! I had and will be getting another 360 in 3 days(used these time) but I don't like it as much as the ps3. All I can say is if the system has games that appeals to u then get it. If ur a shooter most likely the 360 is for u although ps3 is getting better shooters lately. Ps3 is more rpg than 360 but same as the ps3 the 360 is catching up. Wii I just want Mario but one game alone us not the smartes way to go. I'll say these before u get a system there should at least be 5 games that u really want don't get it for 2 N these is coming from the biggest ps3 fanboy ever. Ps. Metal gear solid,Mag,resistance,killzone,maybe ffx13 could be games that u might like alot.

Two games at $60 a piece is less than the price of a PS3 so it's not worth it.
