those monkeys would give GOW3 a 9(same as UC2) if they are honest, no chance of that however, i'm predicting a 7 or 8. Reason? Now that they have returned to being a 'credible' review source for the misinformed masses, there's nothing stopping them from fulfilling their mission.

Why do you say this ? Did you already play the game ? The GoW series is one of the few that is a 9++ imo.

What's the point of reviewing a game if you're supposed to be in line with everyone else, not express your honest opinion? I haven't played FFXIII but it looks quite slow and boring to me so an average score like an EDGE 5 is could very well be right. MGS4 is a 7 for me so EDGE were higher there, and Heavy Rain while a very interesting experience it was a bit like an updated Dragons Lair, 7 is fair.
So I don't really disagree with EDGE in these cases, but sometimes I do.
I'm glad that EDGE dares to have a different opinion sometimes, even though they get a lot of hate for it as is very apparent in this thread.

How do you know this, have you played the game? Story seems really cheesy and ridiculous, music mixing good and terrible. I haven't played the game so don't know about the polish, but production values are abviously very high. This is great and can increase enjoyment, but that alone does not make a good game, or even a decent one.

Yeh man....I imported the game two days after the Japanese release. I beat it just last week. Wouldn't say it deserves a certain score if I hadn't.
