Shiggy isn't a video game character so why even bring him up. Yes, he created Mario and many other gaming icons but I do believe the focus of the discussion is on video game characters...not their creators.

And there is no such thing as the "Wii" series other than being a loosely associated grouping of games for identification. This is like saying the "Super" series or the "64" series on the SNES and N64 respectively were a series.
