And.. FF13 looks good, but it doesn't look 10-good (the gameplay parts). Shows why i don't like IGN that much.

The only way FF13 CG graphics put Avatars to shame are if your watching Avatar with one glass eye, extremely drunk, underneath the water and upside down. Seriously this is like saying that Pong has better graphics than Crysis. I mean, do you have really bad eye sight or something?

Heh I read it and it seems like a fair review but I'm going to wait till we get the game before doing any judgements. Although, I have to admit certain things in the review sounds a bit dissapointing.

Still, I tend to view games as a whole instead of just looking at the bad points, so definitely going to play it.

That was a pretty fair review, which encompassed most of the pros and cons that FFXIII has been getting since it released on Japan. Linearity is going to be a downer for some people and reviewers, just like it was with FFX, so it's no surprise it being a strong point against FFXIII.

Dude, this isn't even something you can discuss, because you are factually wrong (very, very wrong in fact)! You can think the artstyle is better, but that's something different.

Yes. 1.9M sales alone in Japan is an EPIC flop. Horrible horrible sales.

The only things he complained about were things that would not affect me. I am a fan of linearity so this game will be a god send. I actually strongly dislike more open world exploration.
