FF13 is an epic flop. This game was in the making for so long. They could have made 2 FF games on the PS2 by now.

Not a bad score at all, the review is worth a read. I agree with the score, and am still planning to RENT this title on X360 for the experience, and the achievements.

OMG I seriously laughed for about five minutes upon reading this.  The funny thing, is I really just came into this thread to kinda read how people reacting to the score and potentially put a neutral statement on the matter but I guess when I came across this that went to the shitter haha. 

Oh man, aside from that, seems like a fair review, but of course I haven't played it.  I knew there were probably going to be a lot of people that weren't going to like a few of the decisions they made and I do kinda see where they are coming from where the technical side kinda infringes on the other aspects.  But let me play it and I'll see how much merit is in this. 

Only time I ever really freak out about reviews is if I can blatantly see contradictions in what they are saying, although I'm sure a closer read on this I could find them.  That, and of course if the Zelda game they review doesn't get a 10 haha.

Move over RE5, FFXIII has taken your place as "disappointment of the generation". 5 years for an 8.3.

Oh that would be rather difficult.  For that to happen, it'll definitely need a character with no importance to anything whatsoever, an atmosphere that really makes no sense for the game's series, a line in the game that directly insults the cliche villain, a main character who has mysteriously started using steroids, no backstory when it is necessary, a story that  makes no sense in the rest of the series, and of course the main villain to yell the main character's name at the top of his lungs for about 5 seconds. 

But yea if it has all of that I think I can agree haha.

Haha nope it didn't.  Fooled me.  Of course action games are on the rise and considering that is how the NOT Shiji Mikami guys made it into, they were able to accomplish better sales.  Definitely did make it a good buy for those looking for a co-op game. I loved RE4 (favorite in the series), but this was just too far away from the roots and it should have hurt sales but it didn't.  Oh well as long as some enjoyed it I guess won't reign on their parade too much. 

The final score seems lower than the total would be. I still plan on getting this day 1.

oh well this is not too bad, I guess, it could have been much worse, I mean just look at the review for WKC, in now way whatsoever did it deserve the low score it got, but that is going off topic so I will shut up
