10/10 for graphics?

Didn't expect that, but then again it is a Final Fantasy game.

Those CG graphics are bar none the best in the world. Puts Avatar to shame.

No... In Avatar, you couldn't tell the difference between real and CGI AT ALL. In this- you know what you're looking at is a computer generated image. FF CGI is as great as ever but Avatar out shines it no matter how you look at it.

I disagree.

The review seems fair, however, that final score is way too low, if you do the math.

I know its not even supposed to be an average, but it could have been around that point.

9.5+10+9.5+8.0+8.0= 45/5= 9, How is that even close to the score it got.

They say that it isn't an average. But that makes their review system completely flawed.

I know, I'm not a fanboy, and I have to say, its about time some big name franchise is not getting the praise of the world, but what really makes me kinda dissapointed is that this game managed to score lower than Halo 3: ODST.

But then again, they are two different games, but a rehash (Not really, but its more or less, the same as Halo 3, just with a short campaign and maps) got better praise, than a game built from the ground up.

I'm still getting it, because I bet if it didn't have the Final Fantasy name attached to the game, it would score somewhat better. People have high expectations, expecially for a franchise that has garnered some much praise in the past.

The weak points were Gameplay and Lasting appeal, and especially Gameplay is a very important part of games so I can see why the final score ended up like that.

It just really depends on who reviews the game I guess. You know that a person who loves JRPGs will favor the game and give it a higher score. But if a FPS junkie were to review it then of course it will get a lower score.

They put lots of effort in long CGI cutscenes but couldn't even put grass on the battlefield?
