I can confirm it works since i played MW2 for 2 hours and my dad did the same after me without problems.

Like I posted on the other thread, games works but issue is not really fix. Afther the leap day bug, the internal clock switched to 4/29/2020. Games are working now because 4/29/2020 is a real date. But the PS3 think we are on that date. lol
Edit: in other word, games not working was a side-effect of the PS3 running on a date that didnt exist. Now its running on a date that exist, but still not the right date. I wander what the date will be when user will start their PS3 in 24 hours.

The Halo francise is the most overrated bland game to ever hit the console market. It provides a bad name to all FPS that even showed effort at creating an original entertaining plot.
I probably have more ps3 games than you :/
