First and foremost, Sorry Gamelover2000 but I totally took your thread idea. I hope you don't mind. 

Anyways most of you have probably already posted in the original thread but I'd like to see if we could make a more organized thread about the topic. No need to be cumulative just post your attach rate according to the rules and then vote in the poll as well. The attach rate is found by taking the number of qualified games divided by the number of PS3 consoles you have. Here are the rules for games that count.

-The games that count are games that you purchased brand new at some sort of retail outlet regardless of weather you still own them or not. (The full PSN games are the exception, read below to see which ones qualify)

-Used games do NOT count.

-Games you bought new but sold/lost/traded DO count towards your attach rate.

-PSN games do NOT count. (however PSN games you downloaded that could be purchased at retail and cost $20 or more do count i.e. SOCOM, Burnout: Paradise, etc.) 

-Games that were gifted to you brand new for your birthday/christmas/etc. DO count. If they were gifted as used games to you then they do NOT count.

Let's try to keep the chatter down so there wont be so much clutter when adding up the numbers. When posting just post "Attach Rate: XXX" the X's being your attach rate of course. No need to post the number of consoles or the number of used games or total games just the attach rate after you figured it out. Thank you. 

Note: if you have more than 40 just vote for the highest attach rate but you will only get calculated as being part of the 31-40 attach rate.

Wheres the 40+ games poll option at? Also why would you count a game that you no longer own.

Well going bu these rules my numbers are as follows:

PS3: 2

Games: 83 (All non PSN games owned and not used)

PS3- 1
Games- 6

40+ people just vote in the 31-40 spot. I just didn't put 40+ because how do you calculate the average of infinity? So unfortunately if you have 40+ attach rate it will only get counted as 35. 

You count games that you no longer own because you purchased them new. Attach rate isn't really the games you own but the games you purchased new. Also since we don't count used games, if we didn't count new games you no longer own then that game would theoretically just disappear according to this poll. It wouldn't be counted anywhere. So the best way to insure that each game is counted and only counted once we disregard used games and count games that you bought new but no longer own.
