Well I haven't turned my ps3 today at all (my friend did but he had his Internet connection disabled so he was OK, and I was the one telling him it wasn't necessary,I guess he showed me).
Anyway, the last time I switched on and off my ps3 was on the 28th, and now it's only 2 hours here till midnight(according to the ps3's clock anyway), if I switch it on after the date has changed, will it be like the problem never happened?
And I checked my model number, it's one of the affected models.

So I take it no one actually knows for sure if past midnight the problem will be solved or not, and if all ps3's worldwide were hit at the same time, then this optimistic solution is supposed to be effective after midnight GMT then, regardless of the clock setting.
I guess I have to wait for 4 hours now instead of 2.
